Attached is the EMP declaration form for FY2020-21. Kindly complete the form, then print and sign on it.
Please send the scan copy of the signed form to us latest by 18th April 2020. So I can process payroll based on it.
Kindly note the following:
· As you must be aware that optional tax scheme is made applicable by Finance Act 2020. In this regard, we have inserted two options namely Option A and Option B in the attached declaration form. Option A pertains to tax rates prevailing as per the existing tax regime whereas Option B pertains to tax rates declared under the New tax regime. We have also mentioned therein the list of exemptions and deductions which assessee has to forego to avail benefits of reduced tax rates.You need to select either of the two options which shall be considered to compute your monthly TDS amount. Please take advise from your tax consultant and select the desired option.
· Please provide your landlord’s PAN (or a declaration letter if PAN is not applicable) if you haven’t submitted to us before or your landlord has changed; (In case Option A is selected)
· Please also provide enough evidences based on your tax exempted declaration forms before the third quarter and last quarter. (In case Option A is selected)
